🗂️ Room Reservation Management

The Reservations page functions like the sales orders interface, featuring:

• Search bar to quickly locate reservations by customer name, ID, or details

• Duration filter (e.g., Today, This Week, Custom Date Range)

• Advanced filters for:

  • Reservation status (e.g., Not Confirmed, Checked-in, Cancelled)

  • Payment status (Paid, Unpaid, Partially Paid)

  • Booking source (Phone call, Walk-in, Online, etc.)

Each reservation entry shows:

Field	Details
Reservation ID	Unique tracking number
Customer	Name of the guest or customer
Charges	Hourly rate, duration, subtotal, tax, and total
Status	Booking state (Confirmed, Checked-in, Cancelled)
Reserved At	Start and end date/time
Check-in / Check-out	Timestamps if applicable

➕ Creating a New Room Reservation

To add a new booking:

1. Navigate to Reservations > Add.

2. Fill in the required fields:

   • Customer (choose an existing one)

   • Room to be reserved

   • Reservation time range

   • Reservation status

   • Booking source (e.g., via phone, online)

   • Tax method (if applicable)

   • Charges per hour and total duration auto-calculate

   • Staff Note (internal remarks)

3. Optional: Mark as check-in immediately.

4. Click Save.

💡 Digital table menus and QR-based room service are also supported.

⚙️ Reservation Actions

Once a reservation is created, clicking View Details opens the full reservation breakdown.

Actions available:

• Edit: Update reservation time, status, or customer info

• Delete: Remove the reservation (admin only)

• Print: Generate a physical summary for front-desk or guest

• Payment Tracking: Add payment notes, track due amounts, and record transactions

Financial Breakdown:

Section	Info
Room Rate	Hourly rate x number of hours reserved
Tax	Automatically calculated if configured
Food Orders	Linked food orders and their charges
Total Payable	Room + food charges
Paid / Due	Payment tracking with real-time updates

You can also check out and close the reservation only when all dues are cleared.
