How can we test printing functions with a specified paper width, such as 58mm?

As you know, we are currently in demo mode, which means there are some restrictions on changing settings, including print settings. However, we do have the ability to test print settings using the print invoice option. To do this, please print any sale order. You will then have the option to change the size as shown in the screenshot.

Then click to print it with a 58mm width. You will see something like the image below.

Same as you can set any desired size to test it.

Can you please clarify what you mean by "food item consumption" and how to enable it?

On every food item, we have a section for consumption handling. We can select ingredients served/used/required for that item preparation. To enable elegant searching. Please go to settings > advance

What is split pay and how do you process it?

Split pay, also known as split payment, is a feature offered by some restaurants that allow customers to divide the bill among multiple payment methods. This is particularly useful when a group of people wants to pay for their portion of the bill separately.

Here's how you can typically process split pay in a restaurant:

  1. Take Orders: First, the order taker takes the orders from the customers at the table. it goes to the kitchen/bar (depending on the items ordered)

  2. Prepare Bill: Once the meal is finished, the system prepares the bill that includes all the items ordered by the entire group.

  3. Request Split Pay: If the customers want to split the bill, they inform the biller of their intention. They may specify how they want to divide the bill, such as evenly among all diners or based on what each person ordered.

let's say we have ready-to-checkout orders in the list at the POS portal as shown below shot.

we have two items and we want to split the amount between two persons (a group of two customers at a table)

We need to select items for separation. In this case, we have two items. We select one and process it, which will create a Slipit order for the selected item(s).

Now we can process orders and collect payments through multiple methods. Any missed orders will be added to a list of ready items with the next available number.

Process Payment: The server or cashier then processes each payment separately according to the customers' preferences. This may involve splitting the total bill amount into individual amounts and charging each payment method accordingly.

Provide Receipts: After processing the payments, the server provides receipts to each customer indicating their portion of the bill and the payment method used.

Close Transaction: Finally, the system closes the transaction, ensuring that each payment has been successfully processed and that the customers are satisfied with their receipts.

The process may vary slightly depending on the restaurant's payment system and policies. Some restaurants may have specific procedures or technology in place to facilitate split pay more efficiently.

Can it be used for restobar operation?

A restaurant is a type of establishment that combines a restaurant and a bar. It offers customers the opportunity to enjoy a meal while also having a drink. With the pro version, it is possible to collect food orders for the kitchen and drink orders for the bar area in a more efficient manner. We can discuss how to add, print, and view these orders in a better way. read in below FAQ sections.

How can I print the recipient for the customers, the items for the kitchen, and the items for the bartenders?

On each print, there is a button that enables printing for kitchen and bar items. By default, it prints a receipt for the customer. Clicking the "For Kitchen/Bar" button toggles the print mode as shown below.

As shown on the toggle, we will have an additional filter for printing items related to the bar and kitchen.

How can I collect tips from customers?

The system has the ability to collect tips from customers. This feature is optional and can be enabled or disabled in the application Settings under Advance > Customer Tip Collection. shown as below,

How to add my native language translation?

  • Enter your native language name, i.e "Arabic"

  • Enter a short code, i.e "ar" for "Arabic"

it will fill all inputs with a new language,

once all strings have been replace then save it by clicking on

now close the Google translator

and you have successfully translated all strings by using google Translate. now you can switch,

How can you indicate that an item is ready without sending it to the kitchen or bar?

When an item is added to the cart at the POS system, an edit/note option will be available. Clicking on it will display a menu with options to edit the item.

When you click, you can mark it as ready or choose not to send it to the kitchen by selecting "Don't send to the kitchen".

by doing this, the item will be marked as ready and will not be available at the kitchen/bar, so you can process the order when all order items are ready. order will be available to "in process > ready orders". so you can checkout.

Why isn't the database generation process working?

There is no issue or bug with the program. The problem is that the path for MYSQLDUMP is not valid. To fix this, you need to go to Settings, then to General Settings and select Database MYSQLDUMP path. Update this path with the correct one. If you're not sure about it, ask your hosting service provider or use the following command in the server terminal: 'which mysqldump'.

How can it be used without a cashbook register opening and closing?

It is possible to use cashbook mode by going to settings > advanced configurations and toggling the status to on. By default, it is enabled
