The Products Management module is the powerhouse of your inventory system. It’s designed to help you create, organize, and track every item you sell—from simple products to complex serial-based variants—with total precision.
🧾 Adding Products
Adding a new product is intuitive and comprehensive. You can define:
Product Name – Required and must be unique.
Brand & Category – Easily selected from predefined lists.
Description – Notes or feature details for admin and POS display.
Warranty/Guarantee Label – For repair tracking or resale coverage.
Product Image – Optional, but useful for identification and UX.
Variants? – Toggle to enable variant-based products like size/color/storage types.
🧩 Variants & Serial Tracking
When variants are enabled, each one can have its own:
Title (e.g., “256GB - Silver”)
Supplier & Warehouse
Cost & Retail Price
SKU & Barcode
Serial-based Option – Perfect for high-value inventory like phones, laptops, etc.
With Serial-based tracking enabled, every unit within a variant is uniquely identifiable via:
Serial Number
IMEI or Custom Identity Code
This ensures rock-solid tracking, warranty validation, and fraud prevention.
🏬 Supplier & Warehouse Assignment
Products and their variants can be tied to specific:
Suppliers – For sourcing and purchase history
Warehouses – For region-based or physical stock segregation
This makes purchase planning, stock transfer, and reporting more efficient.
