π₯ Users Management
The Users Management section is designed to help you control who can access your POS system, what parts of the system they can interact with, and manage their permissions with clarity and precision.
𧩠Why User Management Matters

Proper user management ensures that:
Each team member only sees the tools they need.
Sensitive actions like changing settings or handling purchases are limited to trusted users.
Roles in your business (e.g., cashier, inventory manager, supervisor) are reflected in the system.
β Adding a New User

To add a new team member:
Navigate to the Users section.
Click the Add User button.
Fill in:
Name
Email
Phone
Assign appropriate permissions (covered below).
Save the user.
Once added, theyβll appear in the user list with the option to edit or delete their record anytime.
βοΈ Editing or Removing Users
Click on any existing user to:
Edit their name, email, phone number.
Update their assigned permissions.
Remove them from the system if needed.
This ensures you stay up to date with team changes β like removing old accounts or updating contact info.
π User Permissions Explained

The key power of this section is permissions. Permissions define what a user can do or see. When adding/editing a user, youβll find a list of checkboxes β each represents a permission module:
Permission

β These can be toggled per user, making it easy to tailor access per role.
π Best Practices
Assign minimum permissions needed per user.
Give POS-only access to cashiers to limit them from sensitive modules.
Always keep at least one admin account with full access.
Update or remove user access when staff roles change or when someone leaves the team.
